Summary
I have been in the marketing/communications/project management industry for my entire professional career, in both the secular world and church world, adapting to the ever-changing technical landscape as new communication tools become available - including traditional scriptwriting and video production, printed and electronic communication, website design/maintenance, social media networking and live event support.
Video Production
Do you remember 3/4" A/B roll suites? I do. From those early days of lead acid batteries and tube cameras, I've been around for all the changes. Live, studio and field production. Linear and non-linear post. (I still have my 9gig SCSI drive that originally cost over $5,000!) From concept, to screenwriting, production and post - it's what I do. Currently most of my production is done with 4K DSLR cameras and post primarily via FCPX.
Motion Graphics
I wouldn't call myself a graphic designer, but I know my way around Illustrator and Photoshop. Motion graphics pieces, either long form or specific elements, are created via After FX and Apple Motion with a collection of 3D modeling programs thrown in for giggles.
Social Media
In addition to providing rich media for popular websites like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Youtube, I've also designed and maintain several websites. PHP, HTML, (does anyone use Flash anymore?), CSS and SEO. The days of VHS and DVDs are long gone. Now most media is delivered via the web.
Event Planning
Stage design, lighting, audio, IMAG, web-streaming. Whether it's a national sales meeting, conference or off-site office - let's just say I've seen the loading docks of most major venues in the midwest (and both coasts).
Moving Images
Moving Images was formed in 1996 to offer professional media and video services without the overhead associated with traditional production facilities/ad agencies. Over the years I have worked with such clients as Lincoln Financial, Vera Bradley, Siemens, DePuy Orthopaedics, GE Industrial Control Systems and Starcraft providing scripting, video production, meeting support and supplemental print and electronic media. Moving Images is also the catalyst to produce videos for non-profits and missionary organizations around the world.
