It's a new year. A new president sworn in soon - and the world hasn't blown up yet! 2016 brought a lot of changes, and 2017 looks to be another year of transitions. But I embrace change. And I'm excited about the future!
I thought it was just a ridiculously rude telemarketer. I mean who calls at 3am? I have been getting an un-godly amount of calls passing on the great news that I've been pre-approved for a new loan, or that I qualify for a home security system. So I just ignored the call. When I got around to checking my phone the next morning, I was greeted by a somber message, "Sir, this is Lt.Col ********* We regret to inform you that your son has been in an accident..."
My wife and I were strongly convinced we needed to move from the midwest to Texas so we could be closer to our grandchildren. But it never seemed to work out. Now we know why. Don't tell me God doesn't have a sense of humor!
